The Garrett CX with the largest seachcoil would be a good choice because you could add the 2-box attachment if it turns out that your target is as deep as you think it might be. Other 2-box units are available but they do not attach to a standard detector like the Garrett CX.

If its deeper than three feet then you really have to go the high power P.I. route (Lorenz, Pulse Star, Deepers etc) though as you say the mineralisation is not bad the Nexus VLF should be O.K. and has true ferrous discrimination.
