Bogeymcq, Yeah with my foot, about two inches was above the ground and that is all that was needed to put me on the ground. I did go back, they had built a house in the area I found it so I scanned the surrounding woods and only found trash. I will try again some day.

Have to believe it was shot from a ship right?? Im just plain ignorant when i comes to this stuff (stuff= our nations history). I am used to reading about 3 and 6 LB balls, that thing is huge!!!!

Just think how many folks would have walked past that one, beeping in their ears, (me for one)!!!
