Got out for a 3 hour hunt this afternoon at a beach right down the road. We had a pretty good low tide today about noon. From what I've been told, no body has hunted the water at this beach. I dug coins non stop for 3 hours. This beach is nothing but rocks and shells, and is very hard to dig. I will say that my new SunSpot I got yesterday morning is now broke in. My totals for the day was 10,511 yen ($127.72 US) & 1 silver dagger pendent. I know the photo dont look like much, but a 500 yen coin is $6.07 per coin, and I dug 11 of them; it adds up quick. I have yet to find any Okinawa gold or plat, but as soon as I weed out the coins, I'm hopping to pull a few. I know its there.

Great hunt :icon_thumright: I bet you will have Gold or Plat very soon there. I know you said that 500 yen is worth $6.07 US but I'm just wondering if it will buy you the same thing there as it will here. For example $6 would buy you most large value meals at a fast food chain or $4 (about 333 yen) would buy you a gallon of gas. Is that about the same? I guess I'm wondering what would 500 yen buy you there. Thanks
