This carnival glass insulator was given to me by my uncle who was a lineman in Vermont he got this while replacing with new on a mountian line 30 years ago.

Wow, that's really cool! Very unique and the coating still looks decent for its age. Neat item! What do you think, like 1950-60ish?

All I know right now is in the eighties it was part of a whole line that ran over a mountain and they all were replaced because they were outdated and that for Vermont is very outdated since most of Vermont is twenty years behind to begin with

Okay so if it was in place in the 80's then it could very well be from the 60's. I found a web on line about them, since I had no idea what they were used for. It's a cool piece from the way life used to be. Keep looking at it, really like it!
