One of my permissions has this home garden and a fair part of it is corn.
Which he has already harvested. But, not just that, afterwards he tills the ground!

What's that mean to me? A nice, flat, smooth, cornfield to hunt! Albeit a little small.
It's only about 90x90 but that's big enough to spend an hour or two gridding this plot!

Ya see, this place has already given me a walking half and a 1919 merc plus some
other stuff. And I'd been waiting all summer for the corn to be picked so I could get
at this lil patch!

I worked it all very, very carefully and after about 2 hours, I had absolutely nothing but scrap
metal to show for my efforts. :BangHead::BangHead:

That's what I get for wishin'. LOL

Anyway, I stopped at a clad farm on the way back home for a couple more hours:

A fair save....I guess. :dontknow:

Thanks for peeking!

Clad farms work. Looks like it was big enough to let fishy ride his pony.

Beautiful day to be out enjoying the weather

Nice job Whadi. I always hit the gardens in the yards of older homes. My Father in Law found a V Nickel and some Barber coins in his garden while tilling it up for the season. His home was only 60 years old, but his garden sat in the back corner of the yard where the alley ( and all of the foot traffic ) once was. I did detect it, but it seems there was nothing left for me. He did a good job with his eyeball finds over the years.

Blingie has bling, all is right with the world!

Well the owner had to clear the corn, you had to clear the metal trash. Doesn't mean there isn't more goodies there, they're just not ready yet, next trip.

Nice collection of clad. Congrats!
I like the My little pony Fishy is riding. Guess theres been little kids playing in the field, planting ponies!

Good job Whadi, , I'm grateful that the Wheat field I stumbled upon is still producing. You're really banging out the quarters.
Congratulations

Welp, I'm not sure. I assumed it was just kid bling. It's marked, "XH 5576" on the back. The atp says 70. :dontknow:

I am wondering if the farmer gave you free corn. That would had been great, and save you money.

Actually, no. But it's just a small garden for himself and he knows I'm perfectly happy just being able to hunt there. I have my "reward". :)

Thanks!

Oh, I know, there's a "Catch-22" in the ground being tilled. It might bring stuff up but it might also bury stuff deeper. It was a pleasure type walk! So smooth, potential there, pleasant weather, easy to dig. Heck! To give you an indication, I could push my pinpointer straight down into the loosened soil to just about it's entire length! LOL

Maybe next time, when the ground is turned once more. :dontknow:
