Got this token, standard nickel-size with a crescent moon cut into it. Differs from the Goetz tokens I've seen as it has a raised edge with reeded inset. Any ideas?!?

Also got this old Culver Military Academy (Attleboro Mass) lapel pin.

love the smiley face token tim. sidewalk fodder?

Yep, more of the same. Last couple silvers though came from the park, where the city has given up the job of mowing for the time being apparently. But Mayo did get one of those one-in-milion hits the other day at the parkway dugout. Turned on his machine, set the coil to the soil and immediately found a 1906 V nick in the mix. Crusty but with open spots of original nickel finish as well.

Never saw anything like your finds before. Sorry can't help.

Might be a unused blank token. I just searched ebay under the token category and put in moon and saw two that look just like yours including the reeded inset but they have "good for 5 cents in trade" stamped on them. Great finds!
