I was casually searching on a well used path to a favorite spot. The gold monster let out a scream. This was sitting about an inch from the surface.

I won't need coffee for days.

This was found in the golden triangle in Sonora, Mexico

No, I don't bring my phone with me digging. The nugget was pretty crusty with caliche. It sat in mild acid for two days. It still has a lot of magnetite in the cracks.
