Breathtaking... what an incredible feeling that must have been! Sidewalk tear-outs have been hit or miss for me.. last one yielded nothing under the sidewalk but lots of goodies from the old parking lot next to it when they moved the dirt. Good job!

What a minute. That LC is shiny copper, you have to bury it for a few years now after your electrocution process to make it tarnished again. Absolutely great finds. Congrats!!!!

I know I know. Some people hate the cleaning of coins. But when I find a copper with little corrosion I electrolysis it to see how much detail is left. I only do this to really nice coppers that dont have much value

Nice finds! One time I lived in Tampa Fl and they were ripping up Yabor city which is very old. I used to go down after work and hunt. I filled up 2 binders with old coins, tokens and buttons. Just imagine what's still under all the concrete...
