Best width for hogmats with the small electric pump

Putting together a small highbanker and want to use a Electric pump only.Im thinking 8" wide for proper flow using a 1200 pump.I can put more drop on the sluce for added velocity .

The goldhog piglet is also 8" wide and the website recommends a pump capacity about three times bigger than what you are planning. See here: Convert to Battery Power | Mini Gold Highbanker
