I had to look ay my Eggland's Best egg, twice, this morning! :laughing7:
It'll be a sad day here in the US, when we start importing these fake eggs, over here. :BangHead:
I wonder if they're on ebay yet, as a novelty. :icon_scratch:

Speaking of eggs, here's two pics of an egg my daughter boiled this morning for her breakfast.

I don't believe she'll ever have boiled eggs again....

I don't mind seeing the little white things, starting......... but THAT! :o

The Mr visited a chicken plant around the Stark area, yrs back when he built I-75.
He didn't eat chicken for almost 6 months!

I swore off hot dogs for a LONG TIME after I worked at "Wilson's" in Missouri back in 74'. It was a hog slaughter house and meat packing plant. What an eye opener at the time!!!! I simply couldn't believe what went into them.

The whole industry is disgusting. ..I only by local free range eggs,,we need to stop doing business with China..
The way they treat their people and animals is deplorable!
Oh, and let's not forget the doggie treats that have killed so many of our dogs!!

I collect my eggs every day and there isn't any rooster around that can get to the hens. One of the hens comes up to me to get petted every time I collect them.

Man I wish I had known that.... I'm about 20,000 hogs, 50 whitetail deer, 100's of squirrels and rabbits, dozens of pheasant's and quail to late.

Speaking of China, a lot of the fruits and veggies from Walmart are grown in the soil in China, yesterday I was reading a article in last months time magazine about just the same thing about pollution in China, according to the story local Chinese farmers will NOT eat the fruits and veggies they grow because the soil is extremely toxic..that's food for thought.

Mike, they may be oppressed, but they ain't stupid.
Some should be looking at what some of the planes be dumping into the atmosphere also.
silver iodide, and other not good stuffs. It's gotta come down somewhere, too.

Limitool, I've always said grace and/or thanked what ever little animal, I was taking life from or eating. Even fishes.
I'm making hamburger right now and already said, "Thank you cows".
Gratitude is very under rated, imho. Makes me think of the quote,
"If you can't be grateful for the little that you have, how will you ever be grateful, if much to you is given"?

Absolutely.... NEVER did I go out hunting and kill and then not butcher / clean / and consume the wild game I brought home. Now about the hog market job I'm a few hogs behind (I think). But I know I had help.

Speaking of animals, I'd be willing to bet say 85% of the population, if they had to slaughter their own meat for consumption, there would be 85% more vegans, it does not take much thought to go through the drive thru at a burger joint and think insta burger, but if they had to actually kill said animal...more food for thought.

Mike

PS, random food for thought, on average 25 percent of the population of the USA, does NOT know that the earth orbits the sun.
