Big Bird a Florida Great Pipe

I found my pipe when I was seventeen years old . I was on a fishing trip with my family one summer in 1969 when I found Big Bird. We were fishing on some small Islands off the North central gulf cost of Florida . I thought it was the coolest thing.. anyways it got packed away at my folks house and a few years later I went into the Army. I forgot about it until my folks moved and they stopped by on their way to their new home in NC and dropped off a few boxes of my old stuff and guess what I found. It was 30 some odd years since I saw it last... I tell you it was like finding it all over again. Any ways over the years I have started collecting artifacts and fossils so now it's my center piece in my collection. I have never felt the need to get it papered (COA) but I guess I should. Well here are some pictures of Big Bird . 8) 8) 8) :)

Dear Sir,

That is just about the best artifact I have seen on this forum. Congrats on the special find. Getting a COA will only cast doubt upon the piece. Collectors of this caliber of artifact do not want to be in the same room as a COA produced by any number of charlatans. If you have any questions about these statements, please PM me.
Regards,
Jon Dickinson.

Wow, I can only dream of a find like that. I have dozens of points and
hammers, grinding stones, but nothing that even comes close to the piece you found.

Bet it is worth a lot of money and I mean in the thousand dollar range. I
hope you have it insured.
