I may have posted this pic a few years ago... don't remember. I was up above my RV about 200 meters. I heard a clip-clop above me. He stopped and looked at me long enough to take this pic... ╦╦ç
great picture, I've seen signs that they are in the area, but have never spotted one.

Two places you will see them.... regularly. Trigo Mountains south of Cibola. AZ. They come down and drink from the Colorado River. I'll try to find more pics from there but they are on a lap top that is RETIRED. The other place is in the Cabeza Prieta Wilderness. Not so many there.... and you must walk in about 7 miles to catch them drinking at some rainwater TANKS up high. I will go so far as to GAURANTEE you will see them at the Trigos. Let me know by PM. I will tell you EXACTLY where to park.... next to an ancient Indian mound LITTERTED with pottery pieces! I will not give that info out to the world, only personal requests. ╦╦ç

Thanks Terry, I'm a bit further south east. I've seen the signs in both the Ironwood nation park area, and Coyote/Kit peak mountain areas

Good picture, he was as curious as you! Beautiful animal!
I took that pic on a Saturday morning as I also saw sheep hunters looking for these guys. LITTERALLY saw this guy and its pursuers at the same time! A coyote also sat below me, studying the hunters that were off about 500 meters away. They never saw him until I showed them the pic! This is one of my favorite places, sometimes spending a week or more here. ╦╦ç

No one looks up, not even hunters, that is why it has always been a good place to hide.
