I went to a site today that I've hunted for years. I know they made alot of dugout canoes there. so it's always been a good place to find celts among other shell tools. I hadn't been there in awhile. someone posted a celt yesterday that came from there so I could not help myself I had to go today. b sides several brokes which is normal I found 2 full pieces. 1 is 5 and a half inches long with an ancient ding on the bit. I also found this dog bone shaped artifact made from the same type of conch. I'm hoping someone can give me some input before I start to research. thank you in advance.

Dude that dogbone is awesome. I have no idea whatsoever, LOL!!!! Looks like a human finger bone effigy, or a bone end-scraper..????
Goes in Grade A case boom.

Ha ha that's where it is. after scrutinizing for a while it appears to be a type of small celt or adze. It has an edge and under a magnifying glass I can see strap marks around the middle. never seen 1 like it.
