Yesterday I was cleaning some stuff out of the garage and decided to drop it at GW as the independent store I usually donate to was closed. Even though I'm not treasure hunting full time anymore I can never say no to a quick look around so into the store I went, and found almost a pound of .800 silver just sitting on a shelf! A couple of elements screamed "solid silver", namely the legs/feet being hollow in back and also visible hammering inside the bowl. My phone was in the car and I didn't recognize the marks but I was 99% sure that the last bit read "800" not "8C0" so it left with me, 416 grams for 4.99.

That's a great piece of German 80%. Have you looked into what the prices go for that maker?
