My Dad had me running errands today, I stopped at walmart to fill his prescription and passed by the coinstar to check the trap. I just about pissed myself when i saw what was in there, never would i imagine finding a 1942 walker in there :headbang: ... oh wait, there`s more :tongue3: A tiny silver love token about the size of a half dime, a 1923 1 franc and another coin, canadian i think 1921, WOOHOO :hello2: im so glad i thought to check the machine. The walker looks like its from a watch fob or key chain,
not bad for a trip to Walmart

if anyone has some info on the love token that would be great, no date, just some Asian markings.
Thanks,
Pro-

That's crazy you found that in the reject tray!! The 1921 coin is Swedish, not Canadian.

yeah i found it odd that someone would just leave these in there, I know of at least 6 people who check it on a regular basis too.
my next guess on the Swedish coin was Danish, thanks for the info.

How can anyone be that stupid to leave something like that? They must not even know there is a reject tray?
That looks like gold, the fob, did you check it?

its probably kids trying to get money, many many times the McDonalds hands me wheaties in change back. last spring they surprisingly gave me a very smooth shield nickel, but as far as the walker goes, its not gold.

Incredible finds.

You just have to wonder about people who leave that stuff behind. The machine tells you to check the reject tray numerous times.

I guess they either didn't care, didn't know what they had or they can't read.
It baffles me every time. I've scored quite a few silvers from Coin Star myself but I always wonder how people cabn do that and just walk away.

Then again, I guess not everyone is into old coins like we are. That's okay 'cause that means more opportunities for us!!

Its funny, because i frequent this daliy and get lucky sometimes, nothing bigger then a silver dime.

But there has been occasions where I would look in there, and it was FULL of coins..all modern clad, but once i found almost 3 bucks in quarters

Im sure these people are busy on thier phones or something to actually pay attention to the machine.

well, I gotta head up to the store......Coinstar time!!
