Got out to this 1860s place where I just got permission, just had a couple hours and it's a big property so I will be back....got a couple mason jar lids...then a 50c signal which is almost never 50c, except today was good old Ben Franklin staring back from the hole (1960). Cleaned up nicely too. Then the airport police showed up,,,but not the real ones...I'm expecting more good stuff from this site.

What do you mean by not the real airport police ? Were they rent a cop's ?
I know one thing you can't hardly even walk by an airport without someone stopping you to ask what you are doing.

I'd say there's a pretty good chance he was referring to the toy police car he found. Nice Ben, too.

LOl I did not even see the pick , that square was blank with I was reading the post the first time. I guess it was not a rent a cop but a buy a cop at the toy store !

sweet Franklin Phil! i know you must have been happy it wasn't the usual piece of aluminum can or something! i almost want to ignore 1/2 dollar signals because they are almost always junk...for me at least. now go find a seated half to go along with the Franklin!
