From 1946 forward they are only 50% unfortunately as are the other Australian silver coins.

Nice mate, that's a good days finds in my books. Have to appreciate that to find silver coins here in Australia is a lot less common than in the States. Or maybe I'm just saying that to make myself feel better all comes down to the site I suppose

Thanks Eagleye, I think I've done ok hitting the old rural sites.
20 silver out of about 150 coins since I started.

I haven't found any silver at the few parks I've tried.
