hit a small saltwater spot-got some old silver last year here on my tip toes - place is totally cleaned out from chest to shore
went out at low tide on my toes again with mask & snorkel - there's got to be old gold out there - haven't got to it yet - but got silver again
walking half was a surprise - got a blast - scooped - copper Lincoln...got a blast - scooped - nother copper Lincoln
got another blast - thought It might be a clad quarter - saw large coin in scoop and thought "Oh..clad half""
picked it out - wiped and crust broke off to reveal 1933 half
not to far away - got a blast - scooped - another copper Lincoln
rechecked the hole and got a faint signal - scooped and up came silver military ring - it was really caked but crust broke right off
cool find -
-little ways away I got the thin silver band and then got 2 silver dimes
went out as far as I could and pulled up the buffalo
was only out there for about 1 1/2 hrs
will have to hit here with tanks in the future - there's got to be more out deeper and with these and other coins + what I got last year
theres got to be some old gold out there

Sweet finds. The military ring looks pretty cool, and you can never go wrong with BIG silver. Congrats!

Nice score on the silver. I think it's time to break out the scuba gear. (let me know if you need a diving buddy:laughing7:)

Casper, I just started water hunting this year and really appreciate your pictures and the advice you gave me on wet suits earlier this year. What you said about being on your toes really rings true to me. I am 6' 4' so I can go a little deeper than most guys and it is surprising how much I have been finding when I am on my toes.
