Greenie
The sun was out, but we had a breeze so still a bit chilly. I wanted to go revisit a spot that was farther away, but my wife insisted I stay closer and go to an old standby. Glad I listened!
Picked up a few Wheats, one Merc, and then finally got a tone that I thought would be another Wheat, maybe a dime. Flipped the dirt, tried the probe, and got a tone along the side. I removed a side slice, and saw a big silver rim sandwhiched in the dirt clump. I thought "no way!" I knew it was a half, so was already in shock, but when I broke open the dirt clump, I just about lost it when I realized it was a Barber. Packed it in cotton to bring it home.
What a great feeling. Love this hobby!
