Around here we call them Bradleys spikes.Theory is they were used for spearing fish. I am not sure what you call them in your area. Nice find though.

That ring of yours looks tight. It reminds me of a docking band some folk use on bull calves. Ive tried but it makes me wince too much.

That ring of yours looks tight. It reminds me of a docking band some folk use on bull calves. Ive tried but it makes me wince too much.

Ha! Actually, the ring is quite loose and slides on and off easily. The picture is a little deceiving...
