those little paper you put in he dryer to make the towels soft it is a great deterent against them pit one under your baseball hat for neck protection better than off hope this helps

I have never encountered those type nats...or gnats. You know like the African antelope, Gnu? The only ground critter that ever did me that way was those darn tiny little yellow jacket wasps and fire ants. Fire ants are especially bad and you might as well let them have whatever your were trying to dig up. The more you squish, the more that comes out and tries to eat your hands! Monty
