Black sand removal from your con's

I saw a post on here the other day that asked how to get the gold out of their black sands.
This is something I have made and it works very well! The total cost of the whole thing is about $ 70.00.
Using a tumbler that I bought at Harbor Freight and Tool for about $58.00, and a magnet that i got there also for about $ 16.00

I took the bowl off and used a 12 quart tub ( $ 8.00) and drilled a hole in the middle of it and placed the tub on top of the tumbler and used the wing nut and washer to hold it in place,( the washer has a rubber side to it to keep it from leaking water it comes with the tumbler).
Then adding about 2 inches of water in the tub and turn on the tumbler and add your PRE SCREENED cons into the tub, ( I do this with 2 cups of cons at a time). Dump your clean cons into a bucket after about 6 cup of running.
This turns your cons into a slurry, then use the the magnet inside a ziploc bag, place the magnet inside the tub sliding it over the cons, while your cons are in a slurry state ( semi liquid ) it is easier to get out the black sands and LESS likely to get the gold with it. DO NOT THROW AWAY your black sands, let them dry out and use a smaller magnet after they have dried and spread out the black sand, don't pile it up for this step, if any gold was picked up when the cons were wet by the bigger magnet, it will be left behind after it has dried out.
By doing this it helps speed up your finial clean up stage, ( blue bowl or spiral wheel) because you should only have only blond sand and NON magnetic heavies and the GOLD left at this point.
I hope this will help someone!

Thanks
