hi all!i went hunting behind a old tavern today wich is still open for business. this taven was built in the early 1700s and was a stop on the old stage coach line to boston. im sure any lurkers could figure out were this place is but i dont care this place has been hunted to death. but it didnt stop willy from finding a few goodies. 1838 cornet. a silver piece of sissors, lamp part ect. the spoon has armour extract writing all over it made in chicargo. willy

Great hunt Bill. I know exactly where that tavern is and never thought about detecting it. Been calling all weekend to go out. Maybe this week coming up! Love the LC.

Just goes to show you we never find it all..even if a place has been hunted to death. Great job.

Beautiful finds there Willy, love the 1838 Cornet! :notworthy: The silver piece of scissor handle is my favourite.Must've been very decorative when they were new! :icon_thumright:

Look forward to seeing what else you find there,
Dave

Nice finds willy. The one item pictured looks like part of a heel plate. I have found several cw era heel plates that have a heart for a design in the middle. Congrats on pulling out some good finds in a pounded spot.
