Got 9" so far and it's still coming down good.
Work shut down today due to weather (last time was 14 years ago) so I'm enjoying this!!!
I think it's more due to what's going to happen then what's happened already.
Weather channel is predicting a blizzard this afternoon....Can't wait!!!
With blizzard conditions causing impassible road conditions, Governor Edward G. Rendell is closing interstates 83, 78, and part of Interstate 81 beginning at 12:30 p.m. and is expecting to close additional roads as conditions deteriorate.
Hey Jeff, I feel the pain we started with rain/heavy wet snow friday then lost power. but it finally back this evening. we got between 14-16 inches, north WV. Glad I cut xtra wood for this winter.
Advice to those still without power. If you have meat or other stuff thawing in the freezer wrap it in grocery, or garbage bags, or put in a bucket with lid and bury it in the snow. I have lost a lot from loss of power in previous years. I have 3-5gallon buckets, grocery bags, and 2-1gallon ice cream buckets full of meat buried right now. Thats tough to replace if you lose it.
