Found silver 3 & 4 FTY yesterday. The 1940-P Mercury was found at a park/school along with the old fashioned school yard monitor's whistle. The whistle kind of works and was found at 8 inches. I was excited to find this beat up 1946-P Rosie at an abandoned/ boarded up home nearby the school because a couple of years ago I detected this same property with my White's MXT-Pro and somehow missed the dime. Found some additional Wheaties on the property as well. I'm almost at a personal milestone as I'm up to 99 silver coins since resuming metal detecting in Nov 2013. All but 12 have been found with my Etrac. HH!

Nice going! That e-trac is a great machine. You should see what the CTX does. This past year.

Not to get off the subject of his finds but I really don't think you found many if any of those silver coins any deeper than the E-Trac. You got over them with the CTX that is the difference. I found 307 silver coins with my CZ-21 and my Tiger Shark. You wouldn't have got that many with your CTX where I was. It would be a drowned CTX.

I have an E-Trac and my friend has a Dirty30. He has yet to get over a silver coin I couldn't detect. This thread is about his finds.
