Hello,

My all time favorite book is "Blue Highways" by William Least-Heat Moon.

This is one of those books that you can just pick up at any time open to any page and start reading.
Its a story of a man who circumnavigated the United States using only the 'blue roads' on the map. Going through and reporting on the small towns and life that he saw and bumped into on the way. This book is a classic. It was written in 1982 and you can always find a copy of it in any bookstore. This is a book best read slowly, as well as a book you can learn alot from. I was turned on to this book in about 1989 and have read it quite possibley hundreds of times.
William Least -Heat Moon (aka Bill Trogdon) has written about 4 other books (the last one just came out last month) but in my opinion they all pretty much s#@k! :o

Another great Auther is Dayton Duncun.

Have fun..

Vin.
