Thanks everyone for responding I live in middle georgia. I don't think its a rock bit I was wrong once before ( ok maybe twice) I think its either a button or bead that has been squished over time. Or stimpys nose..I am about to Google iron ore slag as obviously I don't know what that is. I didn't choose metal detecting it chose me ...just happened to live on property that has a lot of history.
