Blue tip bullet - 2 pennies & a Red Devil

Went out this even for a couple of hours. Only found 2 pennies (1970 & 1975), a Red Devil Professional 1 1/4" scrapper, and a Blue tip bullet (1 1/8" L x 3/8" W). Not sure what kind it is, I can't read any of the wording and not being fired I'm not gonna try scrubbing it to see. So any of you hunters got some info, much appreciated. Also lots of pull tabs and old cans, but you have to take the bad to get the good. Thanks all for looking.

You are really getting that detector tuned up for old silver season KW!!! The bullet looks like a ballistic tip and different calibers used different colored tips. HH, Quindy.

the bullet is a powerbelt .54 cal i think i might be wrong tho

yeah green is .50 and yellow is .45 im pretty sure lol man i know a bit to much about ammo lol

Looks like a .50 caliber modern muzzle loading projectile.

Thank you Spooky and redneck. This is the first time I've seen one like that. I did look blue tip bullets up and there was a 50 cal they called 5.7mm x 28 mm, but they looked like pencil lead shape and skinnier and not like crayon shape and fatter. This was found at a house they use as a hunting cabin.

Hey Q, Thank you, I'm trying to get there. I went and pounded around the area where I found the Merc the other day but only come up with pull tabs. I even had one hole I was getting good beeps in DIsc. mode and nothing in all metal. I dug a foot down and some off where the signal was in grass are near edge. I went to check to see if I found it and lost the signal all together. Nothing in either mode. The mysterious ghost coin.
