I see there were no takers on the question, so the answer is as follows

You can put a papercup (not wax coated) filled with water directly on hot embers and the water will boil while leaving the cup intact. The paper cup will sweat therefore preventing it from burning

You can also boil an egg in the same cup. Or use half an orange skin (scoop the orange out leaving the skin intact) to cook an egg. Wrap dough around a stick and angle it over coals, rotate often.

Too cool, spartacus53! We didn't believe it, but they taught us how to do that in Boy Scouts back in the sixties.
