Came across the bottles laying on and half sticking out of creek embankment. I think post 1940's because the Clorox bottle is threaded. There was also the horseshoe and a rodent trap? The Armstrong Cork Co. E-1423 pin is from nearby, with the other piece I can't id.

Nice finds! I believe your mystery piece may be part of a pocket watch, a cover of sorts....and it looks like it may be stamped 800 above the piece number?!? Someone who knows watches may be able to ID the item for you. Cool stuff either way! :icon_thumleft:

There is a mark of some sorts to the right of the four digit number, if you can clean that off, it may better help ID the piece. Good luck!

Sure looks like silver, with all those marks "0.836" and I think there is a silver mark to the right of "29 4 5"
