Stopped at one of my pickup banks this morning to swap out a NEW BOX OF 2016 dimes, for another, no problem. As I was taking the exchange box from the teller, I noticed she had a few halves in her tray. I asked if I can have them, she then said thanks for taking, but then further asked, " Mr Dozer, I have two more rolls do you want them too?". I said yes, and walked out with $23.50 of halves. Getting to my car, noticed that of the seven loose halves, we're 2-90%, and 1-40%. Could this be any indicator of what the two rolls make up is, could be very very interesting. The rolls were the flat wrap type with heavily scotched taped at both ends. I crossing my fingers on these this time. Will let you know the results later. Here's to PROMISING THOUGHTS. I hope I got them ALL!!!

Good deal, I hope I come across something like this on my bank run on Monday. Good luck with the rolls!

Yessssss. The first thing I did after working all day. The two rolls were, in my eyes, "FANTASTIC". Now I know the feeling of a rush when you half guys get a big one. Out of the two rolls came out an additional: 2-90%, 12-40%. So from the $23.50, was 4-90%, 14-40%, for appx 3.5 oz. I just hope that I bought them all, cuz that's all she said she had. Might send the wife there Monday morning to double check. Breakdown by years: 4-64,2-65, 2-66,5-67,4-68,1-69 = 18-silvers. Am I still excited, you bet ya.

Sweet cull. It'd take me about 8-12 boxes (normally) to find that

That's ALL she had
Called the bank that had the great two rolls of halves, spoke with teller that did the sale. These were rolls plus the loose coin that came via drive up window earlier that morning. I just happened to be at the right place, JUST IN TIME.

:coffee2: Nice finds. Just a reminder, weigh the 65s as a error was done using 90% blanks instead of 40% blanks (40% are 11.5 grams while 90% is 12.5 grams). Another error is some 66 halves are missing the designer initials (FG) on back.
