Box of dimes, box of nickels

Was busy runnin today sos didn't have time to open an account at the CU- maybe tomarrow. Consequently I have no halves ordered, not even from my other bank. I did however pick up a box of dimes and a box of nickels to play with. Will post the results- probly take a couple days though as the dates are so small on them dimes, couldn't see any silver through the coin condoms but hope for a dirty edge or two. Thinking of running up the mountains this weekend and checking out the casino's halves- never been into one so new experience, don't worry I'm too tight to gamble all my rejects haha. I ain't done yet LOL but I did dodge the skunk on the dimes too- less than an hour ago I pulled a '64 Rosie. What a thrill but that doesn't mean I'm gonna buy another box anytime soon LOL. HH all, Mark

I know it- what a pain. I looked through all the plastic rolls and couldn't see any silver- I just knew the box was a bust but thought I may as well search for that elusive '82 without a P. I'm gonna stick to the halves haha. HH Mark

OK finally got through the boxes- alas no more silver but the one Rosie and one war nick but I did get 17 other pre '60's nicks. Here's a rundown: 1940 (2), 44D (silver), 46, 47 (2), 48, 49, 51, 52 (4), 53 (2), 58, 59, 60.
Box of halves coming tomarrow- time for more fun. HH all, Mark

Sounds like a plan, means more for me! I love searching dimes. Not only are they small and light, I also have had pretty good luck in my limited searches. I plan on getting a box or two tomorrow when I cash in my rejects. Good luck and Happy Hunting.

Congrats on the silver. I agree...those dimes are awfully small. When I check a box of dimes I only edge search with my magnifying glass.....ha!

Checking dates drives me crazy! Just too small for me.

Anyway...kudos on the silver.
