Found the brass key today. The end is pressed into the hole and is hinged.
I think it could have been used on a watch fob.
I found the token yesterday and posted it in the token section.
Found the 1889 Indian Head awhile back.
I found the 1956-D Roosevelt dime in the worked to death park at 10 inches down.
My first silver with the E-Trac.
I had found a mercury dime near here with the DFX at 10 inches.

It is a cupboard key or some similar key to a folding door. They made the keys like that so they could stay in the lock while the door folded. Same type of key for doors that slid into the wall.

Cool find!

Thanks BuckleBoy. In the 1920's there were a few small cabins around the hill I'm detecting and maybe this key was used on one of them.

This one wasn't a front door key, but rather a desk, cupboard or sliding interior door key.
