Copper is much softer than brass. You can bend a piece of copper without much trouble as long as it is small. Brass is almost impossible to bend. Copper also has more of a reddish color. Brass is more yellow in color. Get a file and file down to the base metal to check color......I save all my brass & copper...it's $$$$$...!...:thumbsup:
