Breakin in the new AT PRO

Whelp after 6 months of DHD hounding me to try out the at pro and I finally got enough extra change to get one . So after work yesterday I had a few hours to play with so headed to a trusty old site of mine and out of two hours I ended my afternoon with the back of a eagle button 1 flat button and three musket balls and a solid base sharps,artillery fragment ,and a brass rivet and a few pieces of camp lead . After looking at one of my musket ball I notice that thing is chewed to pieces , I am betting a soldier must have been in some serious pain to bit down that hard .

So not a bad a afternoon hunt , plus I got to play with the new machine . I have to say im impressed with the target separation as all these finds where surrounded with nails , kind of reminded me of my ole MXT I had which I found a lot of good stuff with that machine but I still like my XLT !

So I am prepared for tomorrows door knocking session at a few skirmish sites and a few nice fields with old home site from the 1800's !

The AT Pro is, in my opinion, one of the the best "all around" machines on the market. I also have an MXT Pro, a T2SE, and a Fisher 1266X. And for trashy sites, it's hard to beat. Love the AT Pro. Nice finds!
