breaking in a new pan

i am having the darnest time trying to breaking in my newest gold pan its a blue one almost looks like a trinity pan without the gold trap on the bottom this one is chinese made and i tried rubbing alcohol on it hot water sand gravel and i also put it in the dishwasher now that worked with my green GPAA gold catcher pan may someone help me lol ive never been so irked trying to break in a pan:BangHead:

I would like to know as well. I bought 3 pans after someone liked the used pan someone gave me and decided to make it their own.

If the dishwasher and sand didnt work, I dont know what will. Maybe brake cleaner, then alcohol?

Best way to break in a new pair of boots is to soak them and wear them.

Works on a pan too - just put it to use

Pan the fines into another pan or save them until it is broken in.

idk the brand it looks like the trinity without the trap its a blue one chinese made never buy chinese brands ahaha

yea i always save the concentrates a i have just incase

Try scrubbing it with Comet cleanser. Works for me.

Work the pan with 0000 steel wool that has some Dawn (for dishes) in it. Add water and rub in circles. Get it all ..... top side and bottom side of riffles. TTC
