Checked out a small sidewalk tear up down the road a bit today. My wife told me that she had seen another detectorist at the spot a couple of days ago so any cream would be gone.I managed to find 6 memorials, two clad rosies, and this sad little lady.1899 Canadian 10 cent .Rough but welcome. H.H....Joe

Nice find. I found an 1880 Canadian Half-Dime last year. Those old canadian coins are pretty cool. Especially the silver ones.

Very nice!
It pays to check out those sidewalk tearouts. I was driving through a small town and saw a single square of a sidewalk out in front of an old house. I almost kept going rather than pull out the detector just to do 4'X4' section. I did, and ended up getting a shield nickel and a token.

That reminds me of one of the first good finds I made with my first detector. I had an old White's coinmaster and found under a tree at the corner of a schoolyard a 1899 Canada dime.

Unfortunately it was stolen from my house a little over a year ago. Hoping to someday find another (or better).

Good show at finding a silver.
