Took the missus down and camped by San Luis Lake yesterday, which is dry right now. Walked all around the lake bed just lookin it over and found a porcelain angel with a piece knocked off. Maybe a Christmas tree ornament, no idea and no idea how it wound up in the middle of the lake bed. Got caught in a sand storm which is a novelty for somebody who lives in the mountains. Luckily it didn't last long.

Nice pictures, sand storms are no fun and the angel...maybe a nice "heads up" you're being watched over. :)

Oh I'm always watched over when I'm outdoors, ck. I can only imagine the looks on their faces considering some of the things I get into. Probably like 'Look! Should we step in now?' 'Naw, just let him go. He's pulled this same stunt before, and we always just sit back and watch.' hahaha!
