Looks like the base of a yadkin to me. Those are the primary type Ive found around here. Good eye!

Could be a uwharrie too, I can't remember what part of NC you were in.

That seems like the lower part, there’s a chunk missing out of the side near the top, which threw me off for it being a point and not some other tool
