Now, may I call it "The brooche's area"?
Today I was for a quick hunt on the same area but mostly checking the surroundings of the hill. This Roman coin was the first. I think its a common coin.

After some scrappies (Cru'Definition) these small silver coins came out one after one. No ID yet. They are so small or can be a part of a coin.

Just getting closer to the area where I found last time the brooches, this time on 4kHz, I could find this two beautiful brooches. On the first, I think I can notice some kind of Fertility symbol. The second has more details.

This could have been a very nice bronze cross if it was not broken.

:laughing9: sure, but it will take some time

I can say i've already stuck at it :), but at this point I need some help. Mostly I have searched on 8kHz. The brooches have a very low tone. They were around 15cm deep. I could easily pass over them. Most of the coins were 5-6 cm deep. I tried putting them 10-15 cm deep and trying different frequencies but I didn't have great results. I'm sure there's more stuff out there. The area is unplugged, just around some olive trees. The silver coins were just under the surface. At 10 cm deep no signal at all! Any advice would be great!

As I was explaining to Cru', what I found was just 15 cm, coins 5-6 cm, sometimes 10cm the bigger coins. I'm sure there is more stuff deeper!

Those finds are stunning again Vince! But absolute on top are these brooches. As Cru said, these you only see in auctions or books. :notworthy:

Superb discoveries yet again! I'm pretty sure the silver coins are Ottoman Akce coins, they got more lightweight the more recent they are (from wikipedia):

Year Silver (gr.)
1450-60 0.85
1490-1500 0.68
1600 0.29
1700 0.13
1800 0.048

It looks like some of your pictures are broken, I sure would like to see that broken bronze arrowhead, heh.

That's interesting. Now I'm thinking that all the weak signals can be coins!
Actually I found two bronze broken arrow heads. The first is more flat. They look similar with the one that I found times ago 30km from there.
