Hey everyone ... got chance to get out twice this weekend (about 2 hours Saturday afternoon and 4 hours Sunday ). Went to an old farmstead that I've been researching located in a huge field and spent several hours trying to zero in where the actual house may have been located. Finally hit a few coins and relics and got that warm fuzzy feeling you get when your research finally pans out. My finds were: 2 IHs (1903 & 1905), Buffalo nickle (1936), 4 wheat cents (1942, 19??, 19??, & 19??), 1 1967 Rosie (how did that thing get there?), a neat cuff/collar stud, 3 buttons, a large disc that has JUNKUN written on it, a small jewelry type piece that has Naples written on it, eyeball finds ( 2 marbles & a fake gemstone), and a nice assortment of bits & bobs. It was beautiful weather and perfect temps on both hunts ... a great time to be out digging! Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!
