BuffaloBoy's October start
Searched through 3 boxes of halves and 1 box of pennies.
The pennies yield an average harvest of wheats, 18 of them, with 2 wheat pennies from 1938.
The half dollars on the other hand were a totally different story. all 3 boxes were skunks, 1 box from Brinks and 2 boxes from what I think may be Garda.
On an 8 box skunk streak with my half dollars, not good at all, and my local pickup bank(orders Garda?? halves) cut my order down to 2 boxes every time, where before I would order 3-4 boxes each time. Also, my bank that supplies me with brinks boxes, 3rd time using them, got 3 boxes total, and I am 0/3 with brinks halves.
Think I am going to give halves a break, largest skunk streak I have had since January when I started CRH'ing halves.
I also got 17 foreign coins off my coin machine's magnet the other day, including $1.61 CAD. And to top that off, in the reject bin was a 1994 Canadian $1 coin, making that trip to the bank give me a free $2.61 CAD
