It looks like a 31 or 36 cal revolver bullet. Can you measure the diameter calipers? It can be a CSA or Both sides bullet depending on the diameter.

As VaMark stated it could be .36 caliber, but need diameter and length to be sure. It could be a .42 LeMat or a .36 savage .386 x .643 or Remington .386 x .638. Nice bullet though..

Thanks guys, I don't own any calipers but will buy a pair soon. I leave for Ellijay Ga this morning for some R&R. But of course that means metal detecting.
