Bullets, buckle, button and more.

On Friday the 5th I went on my first dedicated Civil War hunt. I had a guide with permissions all over take me one on one to a very remote spot. Boy did it pay off I found several 3 ringer bullets.


I found several round balls.


One buckle.


One Wilson Cleaner, which I was quite happy to get.


Two 3 ringer bullets that had the persona touch of being turned in to sinkers.


A pocket knife we believe to be from that battle.


My first IHP, toasty, but probably from a soldier who dropped it.


The last item for this post, is a Union officers button, or part of the button. Very bad shape, but it spectacular to me none the less.

Very cool! I hope to go on a dedicated CW hunt someday, and have the same kind of luck you had. Finding a CW bullet is high on my bucket list. Congrats!
