Before you pack your gear and start heading over, this is a State Park, so no metal detecty here! Thought you might like to see some pics though.

Bulow was good friends with the local Seminole Indians and used to trade with them. He made the decision to allow some military to stay on his plantation and that changed all that. When he was gone on a trip the Seminoles came and burned the whole plantation down. I'd be willing to bet a dollar there is some buried money there. He reportedly never came back when he got the news.

I just found an old sawmill partly restored in mandarin. Pretty cool. Must have been tough working in that industry
