got a new detector today
just a gold century 1018 off ebay

less than a half hour playin with it just tryin to figure out the threshold and ground balance stuff
hit a nice signal and decided what the hell dig it and see. To my suprise i hit a plastic lid with my trowel
dug it out shook it, and heard something inside. It was full of water (very dirty water). look inside and found
a 10k gold bracelet with a 10k heart pendant has small diamonds in it too. A ring that very much appears to be gold although i cant make out the stamping inside the ring(hope its gold its nice and heavy).
The big bracelet looks hand made put i dont think it is real silver

anyway thats the story i couldnt believe this was buried in my back yard.
Guess ya never know huh?
i'll try to get some better pics to show more of the detail

thanks for lookin'

HH

Oh yeah this is my first gold!!

How cool is that! Treasure is where you find it ;)

yeah whats the purpose of slamming his MD?????

With your mini Stonehenge, I was thinking those may have belonged to Gulliver. Either that or those were offerings to the gods and need to be re-buried to avoid bad luck. (just kidding of course)

I got my first MD this past Christmas and swung it in my backyard. It's just a Bounty Hunter 2000 (but hey, it was a gift.) Tons of hits, but if I dug them all it'd look like a herd of gophers had passed through.

Wow,
I find it a little strange what "some" people can read into things. I definitely wished no offense. I guess I need to be sure to express myself a little more ---

THIS IS SO ---"BUY-A-USED-DETECTOR-TOY-COOL!" :)

NW Indiana, there's silver in dem grounds!!!
Detector(s) used
Minelab (Xterra50) and Garrett (Ace 250)<-Gone to dad in Montana
Great cache!!

IMO, the odds that the ring are gold are REAL good. And a step further, if someone was going to bury those items, gold and gold, then I would bet that braclet is probably silver too. Homemade or not!!!

Way to GO!@!!!!! :)
