~~ BURNT OUT(seated) ON BIRTHDAY~~

My brother dug this burnt "o" mint seated quarter,cant get a date on the front of the coin but you can see a o mint mark ,, that would be nice if it is a huge o 1854, but hard to tell, a few other goodies,real cool old printing plate, a few wheatbacks, at least he dug a seated on his birthday!!!

Thanks for looking,,,Ican see that it is a with "arrows" coin but cant tell if it had "rays",,,oh well its a mystery coin for sure!!!

Thanks ,,,,,,maybe someone can tell if it is the huge 0 or normal o,,,?,, that might narrow down the date,, or 1891-0.

The arrows were present only on 1853-1855 Seated Liberty quarters. This example definitely has arrows and does not have rays. There were many rays in the 1853 design, and none are present on this coin even though many other details are discernible. Being that the "O" is a regular size, it could be either an 1854 or an 1855. Could you post another pic with the area that has the date angled towards a light source? The last number is the mystery here. Maybe just enough of it is visible to positively ID it. Great find!

that old car plague,any idea what it was for?what did it go on?reason i ask,is i dug one couple years qgo,anmds cant find any info on it.different car but made of copper and has 3-4 mounting screrw holes.is it fairly old?thanks for your help..

You no what?? I am sittin here lookin at that thing right now!!!,,,not for sure really , maybe a printing plate stamp,,,I think mine had a badge or somthing on the side of it,,,,,,,but its solid lead so dont know.
