Gonna be more fun throwing that red oak on and enjoying the warmth of your labors. :icon_thumright:

We used that same type splitter. Sure beats the heck out of hammer and wedges. :icon_thumright:

thanks for the replies guys.
you can tell by looking at me i am no longer able to
swing a maul, i have owned the splitter for several years
and it has paid for its self, nancy usually runs the ram
but this time she took the pics, keeps me moving when she
has her hand on the lever-lol

Yeah that oak sure burns great, wish I had a power splitter like that! Until then, I split mine the old-fashioned way.

Dang....usta swing a 12# maul with a steel handle every day splitting wood.
Ain't as strong as I once was.

Dang goat, I was wonderin' what the picture was gonna be. Bustin' a bigun is what we say after too many baked beans! That IS a bigun alright! :icon_thumleft:
