Got out for about an hour today before the rain and scored an old button?
I don't know what this one is, but it is pretty heavy.
I put the walker in there for size comparison.
The shank is still good on the back too.

Well Nick, you don't have to be jealous of mine anymore! Congrats on your first general service 'eagle' button! And yours might be older than mine. That might be WW1 era...

Nice find. Looks like a WW1-2 era eagle, general service, great seal coat button.
Im not sure how to tell the diff between ww1 or 2, but I know this design was adopted around 1910.
The 13 star wreath above the eagles head is a dead giveaway.
