✅ SOLVED Button HELP- Cast Lead/Pewter Cuff?

Looking for a bit of ID help with this lead or pewter item, SR raised on the front and what could be a small loop shank. Back also appears to have stamp...? Recovered at a late 1700s coast site in SC.

Hi VMI; Puzzler; My thinking is that what you think is the back is really the front. that you've got it backwards. I say this because the loop location would make the lettering upside down if worn on a chain. Also the lettering and design on the other side appear to be very crudely made. Where is CRUSADER on this one ?? Good Luck. Dying to know myself now. PEACE:RONB
